System roles
Requires JumpServer Enterprise Edition. Define platform-wide roles and fine-grained permissions for administrators across the entire JumpServer deployment.
Create a system role

In the right area of the top navigation bar, click .

In the left menu, click Roles.

On the right page, click the System roles tab.

Click + Create.

Type the role name and description.

Click Submit.
Configure system role permissions

In the right area of the top navigation bar, click .

In the left menu, click Roles.

On the right page, click the System roles tab.

Click the role name you want to configure to open the details page.

Click the Basic tab, and in the "Permission" section on the right side of the page, check or uncheck the corresponding permissions.

Click Update.
